is Bacterial Vaginosis?
Bacterial
Vaginosis is a condition in women that arises as
a result of vaginal bacterial imbalance. For some reason the normal
balance of normal organisms is disrupted resulting in symptoms such
as vaginal discharge with a fishy odour worst after intercourse.

I got Bacterial Vaginosis? |
Bacterial
Vaginosis is extremely common in the reproductive
female population. If you have an unusual vaginal discharge, which
gives off a fishy odour after intercourse, then you may have BV.
| How
can I be investigated for Bacterial Vaginosis? |
At
the One
Stop Clinics we will examine you and take
some vaginal samples for tests.
Once Bacterial Vaginosis
is confirmed you will be given a course of oral Metronidazole or vaginal
Clindamycin.
| Where
shall I be treated? |
You
are treated as an outpatient and do not require multiple visits.
Consultation
and treatment fees are agreed and set between One
Stop Clinics and Insurance companies. If
you are a self paying patient, you will receive a quotation at the
outset. The cost is dependent on the number of visits you may require.
There is a charge for consultations on top of treatment fees. All
will be discussed in detail with you before you undergo any treatment.
